Our Chatty Café Catch-Up is a welcoming space where anyone can sit down, have a coffee, and enjoy a chat with someone new. Whether you’re popping in solo, taking a break from shopping, or just looking for a bit of connection in your day, you’ll find a warm seat waiting.
Look out for the Chatty Café table signage in-centre and take a seat if you’re up for a conversation - no pressure, just friendly connection at your own pace.
What is Chatty Café?
Chatty Café is a national initiative designed to reduce loneliness and build community by encouraging conversation between people who might not otherwise meet. Participating cafés and venues host designated “Chatty Tables” where guests are welcome to sit if they’re open to a friendly chat.
This community event is held on the first and third Friday of each month at 10am in the Food Court, with the first gathering being held on Friday 1 May.
Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation 💛
